The Affordable Conical by Hobby Beverage Equipment is designed for five gallon recipes. It holds a full 6.5 Gallons. The tank and stand is 32" tall and 12" wide. Included with the fermenter is a 3/4 inch lead free brass bottom ball valve, stand, lid, air lock, and 1/2" inch lead free brass racking port valve. Also included are a 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch nipple for fastening the valves to the fermenter. The Model f6.5b fermenter does not have thermometer mounting thread. The Affordable Conical ships ready to brew, all you need to do is clean and sterilize. Now you need not worry about lead leaching into the wort or wine with the new California standard lead free brass. As of September 15 2012 all new orders ship with our new aluminum stand. The new stand is more stable and easier to assemble. The f6.5b is too large for the US Post Office, it must ship via United Parcel Service.
